Adolphus Sowemimo is a highly accomplished and licensed obstetrician and gynecologist with more than three decades of experience. Owing to his experience and professionalism, he holds expertise in a variety of procedures, including operative laparoscopy, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, and maternal-fetal medicine. He has travelled to various countries to share shown his skills and expertise in some of the world's most reputed medical organizations and hospitals. In his extensive career, he has worked as a consultant obstetrician gynecologist at various hospitals all over the world. For example he worked at the Reading general Hospital in England. This is a district general hospital with 160 beds. Adolphus Sowemimo was responsible for handling many areas of work that included running the obstetrics and gynecological clinics viz: Antenatal/Postnatal, gynecological, general gynecology, endocrinology, oncology, sub-fertility and menopausal. In a period of one year, almost 2200 deliveries are done with almost 200 major and 350 minor gynecological surgeries being carried out.
At the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Canada, Adolphus Sowemimo taught OB-GYN residents and medical students on rotations from the teaching hospital at St. Johns Hospital, St. Johns, Newfoundland. He also supervised the performance of clinical audits including perinatal and maternal mortality meetings every three months and monitoring hospital infection rates every month.
Adolphus Sowemimo is reliable and has exceptional communication skills. He attended the Annual Conference of the Society of Obstetricians & Gynecologists of Canada – 2005-2012 and Annual Conference of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists – 2009-2012.
